Daily Honey Face Cleanser

Honey is more than just a natural sweetener for your tea—it’s a powerful skincare ingredient with numerous benefits for your skin. How to Use Honey as a Daily Cleanser

There are two simple methods I use as part of my daily routine:

1. Honey Mask Method

  • Step 1: Take a teaspoon of raw honey and apply it to dry skin.
  • Step 2: Gently massage it into your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. By letting the honey sit on your skin it allows to deeply penetrate, providing extra hydration and nourishment. The antibacterial properties have more time to work, helping to calm inflammation and promote clearer skin as well.
  • Step 3: Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a soft towel.

If I’m short on time, I go for Method 2!

2. Honey Wash Method

  • Step 1: Take a small dime-sized amount of honey and place it in your palm.
  • Step 2: Add a little warm water and rub your hands together to create a thin, spreadable consistency.
  • Step 3: Massage the mixture into your face, moving in gentle circular motions for as long as time permits.
  • Step 4: Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat your face dry.

Both are gentle and effective, leaving your skin soft, clean, and glowing without any harsh chemicals.
